When Chalie Cosby took the stage for her dance recital, she immediately stole the show. She didn’t move for the first six minutes of the performance.
Tiffany Cosby swears that her 4-year-old, Charlie, is animated and outgoing in small groups. On this particular day, however, Charlie decided that she just wasn’t having it. Instead of performing, she stood perfectly still on stage.
She didn’t want to perform because “there were a lot of people”, and a lot of people are finding that relatable in this day and age. After the video was posted on TikTok, it earned over 4 million views.
“She’s very much her own person,” Tiffany says of her daughter. We can definitely believe it – she stood her ground and wasn’t going to let it bother her. She simply didn’t want to perform.
As the recital wound down, Charlie did eventually decide to dance. Her mother thinks that’s because she was in the back row, away from the crowds, for that portion of the routine.
Whatever the reason, this 4-year-old has achieved viral TikTok fame by doing exactly what she wanted, and that’s something we can all agree that we love. When you don’t like the choreography, just don’t do it!

It started with one little girl showing her talent. But one girl becomes two. Then ten. Then you start wondering just what sort of wedding this is.
It starts with one little girl who’s quick on her feet. She begins dancing the way you would expect a dedicated Riverdance fan to start dancing. Tappity-tap-tap, right?
Other little girls join her and it looks like everyone is in for an impromptu Riverdance show. So there’s all these talented kids giving the bride and groom a treat on their special day.
Well, it escalates from there. The bride disappears from the background of the video and reappears on the dancefloor with the girls. She knows the footwork they do.
You dig a little and you find out that it’s a wedding for a TCRG. The acronym isn’t in English. It’s a Gaelic phrase for a certified Irish step dance instructor. No wonder there were so many talented people at one wedding.
Either way, what the little girl started was a treat for everyone there. The bride certainly seemed to be enchanted by the proceedings. We say, Good Show!

Doctor Daniele Volpe discovered that patients with Parkinson’s Disease are able to move better during a traditional Irish dance, and wanted to learn how he could help others.
Parkinson’s Disease is a terrible nervous system disorder that affects the way someone moves, sometimes creating muscle tremors and difficulty moving quickly. Formerly, there is no cure – but an Italian doctor may have some idea of how to help.
Doctor Daniele Volpe may be Italian, but he loves spending time in Ireland and even joined a traditional Irish band. One night in an Irish pub, his world changed forever. He watched a man afflicted with Parkinson’s get up on stage and dance a traditional Irish jig flawlessly.
He followed that discovery to the science behind it. While the reasoning is unclear, it’s clear that something in the rhythm of the music allows the brain to override Parkinson’s effect on the nervous system.
As long as the Parkinson’s patients in Volpe’s study were dancing, they were able to move more freely. The steps themselves may override certain neurological hurdles that affect gait and movement, leading to smoothing motion over time as the brain works to overcome the symptoms.
It’s a truly groundbreaking theory. There’s no telling how many people Doctor Volpe could help with this. In this clip, we see Parkinson’s patients dancing to an Irish jig and keeping up perfectly.

Jonathan Antoine brings all the tingles and goosebumps of an open auditorium to his living room where he sings the beloved love theme from Romeo and Juliet, ‘Un Giorno Per Noi.
The “Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet”, also known as “A Time for Us” was a number-one pop hit in the United States during the year 1969. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on June 28, 1969, and remained there for two weeks. It was also his only Top Ten single on that chart.

Jonathan Antoine’s rendition is more beautiful than the classic. Even with minimal equipment, we are completely blown away. This is the work of a truly remarkable vocal talent.
Jonathan Antoine first appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 and he’s gone from strength to strength. He had a vocal partner, but has since gone solo. He’s released two albums, one in 2014 and one in 2016.
Jonathan says, “A bit of home recording, I self-produced this in my ‘home studio’ and the sm7b is the only mic recording here, with a backing track playing through the speakers from Cubase itself. I’ve never sung this one for anyone before, so here it is as a treat.
If it’s this much of a delight to hear him from his living room, then his voice is going to be astounding when live venues are a thing again.

When the drill team at Mercer Island High School pranced onto the gym floor at this particular pep rally, they can’t have known that their performance would earn them over 1 million views. After watching their performance, however, it’s clear why.
The drill team at MIHS is known for its high standards. They are always in-line, perfectly synchronized, and win competitions wherever they go. This performance at a Homecoming pep rally is no exception to their excellence.
When the music starts (an eclectic mix of Kanye West, The Veronicas, and Pitbull), they move perfectly together, executing crisp moves that leave their peers speechless. How could you not be impressed by this amazingly athletic display?
When they line up along the gym’s centerline, the routine gets real. They begin to form a ‘human kaleidoscope’, where there is a slight delay between their movements. The effect is a ‘ripple’ down the line of girls, and it’s an amazing thing to watch.
And it’s even harder to pull off! Full props to these girls for their amazing dedication to getting it right and their flawless performance. We can’t get over how incredibly in sync they are throughout their performance – that takes skills!

Ronda Felton’s audition left Lionel Richie in tears and ended with a touching sing-a-long. When she brings her mom into the room, there isn’t a dry eye.
Ronda Felton’s story is all about perseverance in the darkest times, and that’s something that the ‘American Idol’ judges and viewers can relate to. Lionel Richie was especially taken with Ronda’s backstory, but he was brought to tears when she started her performance.
She sang a beautifully deep version of Jennifer Hudson’s ‘One Night Only’ from Dreamgirls, and she hit every note perfectly. Her vocals wowed the judges, but it was what one particular judge said that made this one of our favorite moments.
“God provides a crack in the wall. That crack is just enough for you to get through. And my dear, you just found that crack – because that was the moment that will change your life,” said Lionel Richie, prompting tears and a hug from Ronda.
She goes to get her mother to introduce them to the judges, and there isn’t a dry eye in the house. As a celebratory song, Ronda and her mother (Juretha Jones) take up her favorite song – ‘Zoom’, by the Commodores.
Former Commodore Lionel Richie joins in. It’s an amazingly touching moment in a show that already pulls at our heartstrings regularly. This is one of the reasons that audition weeks are so popular with viewers!

When Malinda was on vacation in Spain with her family, flooding forced them to reconsider their plans. Instead of going where they intended to, they ended up in Montefrio, Spain. It’s a good thing they did because otherwise, we wouldn’t have gotten this clip!
Malinda is a classical vocalist and popular Youtuber. She has collaborated with bands, written her own original songs, and even produced dozens of hilarious parodies. It’s a good thing that she knows her ancient plainchant melodies, too.

When they came across the ‘Iglesia de la Encarnacion’ church, she immediately recognized the potential. With an amazing acoustic reverb, singing in this church would sound ancient and hallowed, so of course, she had to try.
Out of respect for the space, she chose ‘Ave Maris Stella’, an ancient plainchant melody that would have been performed by monks and nuns in ancient churches like these. What followed was an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Malinda later says that the performance felt like “playing tennis with the walls”, and that she was very aware that she was singing “a duet with the space”. We know one thing: this performance never fails to give us chills.
