Temperatures are significantly warmer across Australia this week, with Gold Coast temperatures ranging from 24 to 25 degrees and showing consistently sunny weather. 

Temperatures in other Australian states have also stayed in the 20s this week, while Darwin reached up to 31 degrees today.

Southern states such as Adelaide and Hobart are experiencing windier weather, while Sydney is also expected to experience windy weather even at 30 degrees tomorrow. 

Ms Smith, who has been running Absolute Soul Secrets for 18 years, has done various animal psychic readings, which have given her insight to an animal’s consciousness.

She said the animal psychic readings had allowed her to ‘connect with them on a spiritual level’, according to The Gold Coast Bulletin. 

Given her experience with animal psychic readings, Ms Smith said that pets also have psychic abilities, especially cats.

She said this was because animals tend to have ‘superior powers in observation and instinct’ compared to humans, who are more preoccupied with their thoughts. 

‘Animals don’t have that peculiar human trait of overthinking things, they deal with reality appropriately,’ she told The Gold Coast Bulletin. 

Absolute Soul Secrets, which was established in 2000, is a family-owned business headed by Ms Smith and a support team of clairvoyants, astrologers, dream interpreters, crystal ball scryers and tarot card readers. 

They provide psychic readings and seek to bring guidance and spiritual awareness to those filled with anxiety and dread.
